Jim Kniffen is the Founder and President of Gulfstream Mergers & Acquisitions. With over thirty years of successful entrepreneurial experience, he has earned a stellar reputation for ethical excellence in the complex arena of mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Kniffen has extensive expertise in business and enterprise valuation, due diligence analysis, alternative sources of acquisition financing and complex business consultation. Jim is also a sought after public speaker by accounting and financial groups seeking his expertise in the complete M&A sales process; especially in the difficult areas of valuation and financing. Mr. Kniffen is a member of The Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisers, is a Charter Member of the Association of Professional Merger & Acquisition Advisers and is a founding member of The Society for Leadership of Change (SLC). Jim received his graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton in 1976.

MIKE SHERRY – Vice President

Mr. Sherry is an entrepreneur and sales veteran with 20+ years of business and marketing experience. As Vice President at Gulfstream Mergers and Acquisitions, Mike is responsible for overall sales strategy as well as the company's domestic and international expansion. Prior to his role at Gulfstream, he was VP of Sales at SEMrush, a leading marketing software company, responsible for sales strategy and implementation in the US, Canada and Brazil. Before SEMrush, Mike was Director of Sales for Yodle Inc., a New York-based digital marketing and software provider, where he worked with large franchise brands to improve their corporate and local digital marketing results. Mr. Sherry also spent 7+ years as an entrepreneur and executive in the Yellow Pages/Directory industry, helping small businesses achieve their ROI and marketing goals.

Mike lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA with his wife and two sons. He is a graduate of Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.

Austin SCHEIBEL – Vice President

Austin is a skilled mergers and acquisition professional, completing transactions in the software, service, and automotive industries. He has financial consulting experience in, both, domestic and international markets. Mr. Scheibel's financial background includes: appointments to manage funds for the World Food Shortage and the Chinese Governments retirement account, headquartered in Dalian. A Who's Who in the World of Global Business Leaders and the Business Advisory Council's, Businessman of the Year 2005, Austin and his family call Lake Norman, North Carolina home since 1998.

KEVIN O’BOYLE – Vice President

As a real estate investor and entrepreneur, Kevin brings a wealth of experience to sellers and buyers alike. Mr. O'Boyle is very familiar with the challenges that a growing company experiences as well as a keen understanding of the right time to exit. A resident of Cornelius in Lake Norman, NC since 2001, Kevin has many strategic and personal relationships in the NASCAR family as well as other business and civic organizations.

Tim McNiel – SR. Business Analyst

Mr. McNiel comes from a strong background in the financial service industry where he spent a decade of working with a vast array of business owners with their investment decision. His team is responsible for all initial client intake activities. With his due diligence expertise, Tim has worked with companies through private placements and initial public offerings (IPOs). In addition to his investment accomplishments, Tim has built successful teams by developing and integrating motivational strategies while keeping a customer oriented focus.

Lyndsay Greenlee – Vice President of Client Development

Ms. Greenlee received her undergrad degree from Appalachian State in 2003 and her graduate degree from Troy University in 2008. Lyndsay enjoys bringing on new clients and watching them flourish and get the help that they need. She enjoys having those initial conversations and getting to know them. She started her career as an educator and transferred over to the business world beginning with Apple in 2012 before making the move to Gulfstream Mergers in 2015. Lyndsay lives in the suburbs of Atlanta, Ga with her husband and one son.

James Watson – Director of Client Development

Mr. Watson brings a wealth of experience from the private sector. Before joining Gulfstream Mergers in 2009, James spent 18 plus years with a privately held company in which he was responsible for all acquisition activities, including targeting and outreach. James and his team are responsible for meeting with clients and determining the best course of action to ensure the correct path for the client’s desired outcome. James enjoys all outdoor activities and spending long weekends with his family at the coast.

Emma Falkowski – Vice President of Marketing

Ms. Falkowski brings a long history of marketing excellence to the Gulfstream family. Upon graduation from Florida International University, Emma began her marketing career with Windjammer Barefoot Cruises and worked her way up to Marketing Director. Emma has worked in a marketing capacity for several privately-owned companies and startups before coming to Gulfstream Mergers in 2013. Her team is responsible for the creative direction of marketing tools for new clients. A resident of Charlotte, NC since 1999, Emma still considers herself a native Floridian.

Tamara Woodruff – SR. Financial Analyst

Ms. Woodruff brings a strong financial analysis acumen to the Gulfstream Mergers team. Previous to Gulfstream, Ms. Woodruff ran the financial departments for several healthcare systems. Tamara received a BS from Mercy and her MBA from Gardner-Webb University. Tamara and her team are responsible for analyzing financials for both internal and external clients. Ms. Woodruff enjoys ACC basketball and resides outside of Charlotte, NC with her husband of 27 years.
