Jim Kniffen
Founder
Jim Kniffen is the Founder and President of Gulfstream Mergers & Acquisitions. With over 30 years of successful entrepreneurial experience, he has earned a stellar reputation for ethical excellence in the complex arena of mergers and acquisitions. Jim has extensive expertise in business and enterprise valuation, due diligence analysis, alternative sources of acquisition financing and complex business consultation. Jim is also a sought after public speaker by accounting and financial groups seeking his expertise in the complete M&A sales process, especially in the difficult areas of valuation and financing. Jim is a member of The Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors, is a Charter Member of the Association of Professional Merger & Acquisition Advisors and is a founding member of The Society for Leadership of Change (SLC). Jim received his graduate degree from Florida Atlantic University at Boca Raton in 1976.
Neil Boyles
Managing Partner
Neil Boyles is a proven executive experienced in assisting both domestic and international businesses and business owners reach their desired goals. Having been on both sides of the negotiating table, Neil understands both the emotional and financial implications of the deal transaction ebb and flow. When clients are searching for internal/external solutions, growth (organic/inorganic), improved infrastructure, strategic partnerships, synergistic relationships or partial to complete exits, Neil believes one size does not fit all. The only goal is to find the perfect fit for that individual client.
Specializing in introducing “Best in Class” tailored solutions designed specifically to produce the clients’ desired outcomes, Neil enjoys the challenge of matching the client with the correct partner and/or solution required to ensure complete success for all involved in the process.
Michael Weihl
Managing Director
Michael Weihl is a Managing Director at Gulfstream Mergers. He is the Managing Partner at Sirius Business Advisors and joined Gulfstream to expand on his vision to build comprehensive M&A and exit solutions to privately held mid-market business owners. He has built a record of successful transactions and deep friendships over his career having managed over $1B in deal transactions.
Michael grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, he understands the risk, sacrifices, and hard work it takes to be an owner and he himself has owned and operated a wide spectrum of businesses. He is an alumni of the University of Colorado and the University of Florida. Previously, he has worked as a Director for several international M&A firms including Combiz and Benchmark International. He currently resides in South Florida where he manages his cross border M&A team.
His personal business philosophy is based on maintaining certain core perspectives: Business owners normally will only sell a firm only once in a lifetime; capitalizing on this opportunity requires resources, experience, and expert knowledge to ensure they receive the exit they deserve.
Mike Sherry
Managing Director
Mike Sherry is an entrepreneur and sales veteran with over 20-years of business and marketing experience. As Vice President at Gulfstream Mergers and Acquisitions, Mike is responsible for overall sales strategy as well as the company's domestic and international expansion. Prior to his role at Gulfstream, he was VP of Sales at SEMrush, a leading marketing software company, responsible for revenue growth strategy and implementation in the US, Canada and Brazil. Mike is a graduate of Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY.
